Say goodbye to dodgy, flashing, misleading and infected advertisements once and for all. Bannerconnect's latest advances allow the screening of every single advertisement by hand before it's entered in the creative rotation - add that to our 'zero monkey business' policy, and you have a complete ban on any suggestive, distracting or misleading advertisement. Read our Publisher Handbook for a full list of the banned creatives, and feast your eyes on the real life screenshots on your right hand that illustrate the difference in a randomly selected Bannerconnect publisher before and after Page Shield.
The two screenshots on the right are taken in real life without any modifications whatsoever, except for the blurred site logos and names, for privacy reasons. The first one shows an RMXd publisher without page shield, and the second shows what it looks like with Bannerconnect's Page Shield (protection). You can click on the images to enlarge each picture to its full size. Although every publisher is out to earn as much revenue as they can, nobody wants substandard and malicious ads on their pages – we look out for you.
Page Shield is an ongoing program, and we welcome nothing more than our members' feedback on what should or should not be included in our pages. Should you come across any advertisement that slipped through our net according to the guidelines provided above, or one that you think should be included in the filters, then please do let us know about it. Write a report in at
support@bannerconnect.net, stating the reasons you think the advertisement should be banned, and a click url to the advertisement itself. For detailed instructions on how to grab a creative's click url, refer to the FAQs section of the publishers
handbook.
To check that Page Shield protection is active on your account, remember to check that your advertisements are served through
http://ad.bannerconnect.net, and not
http://ad.yieldmanager.com - if it's not from ad.bannerconnect.net, it's not one of ours, and it's not been through Page Shield, and our strict ad selection policies.
