Do you have what it takes to become a BannerConnect publisher? Our entry requirements are geared towards ensuring that your site will perform well under our revenue model. You’re about to take the most important step in your publishing career: welcome to BannerConnect.
Potential Publishers should have:
- A minimum of 100,000 impressions per month

BannerConnect requires a certain volume of ad impressions for optimization. However, we do accept sites with less impressions on a case by case basis. For example: certain promising startups that do not meet this requirement right away. - Unique content

Complete Site designs, content that has been copied or otherwise ripped from their owners is strictly prohibited. Sites with only a bunch of links to other pages are prohibited as well. - Frequently updated content

It is best for your visitors and our advertisers that the content of a website is frequently updated. It keeps your users interested and engaged. - Content written in either in English, Spanish, German, French or Dutch

BannerConnect needs to be aware of where her ad inventory is being displayed. Therefore the content on a webpage has to be readable by us and the advertiser. Other languages may be admissible as well, please contact us about specific details. - A Privacy Policy
- A professional design

Be fully functional at all levels, no ”under construction” pages for example. Sites need to be visually appealing and presented in a professional manner. - A high quality domain name

BannerConnect needs confirmation that you are the rightful owner or controller of a domain. Domains provided by free web hosting providers are not allowed, unless they have large readership and a professional tone.
Potential Publishers should not contain:
- Adult, Nudity or Suggestive Content
BannerConnect has very strict policies about Adult content. It’s strictly prohibited in any way. Our definition of Adult content includes more than other networks. Nudity, suggestive (even clothed), provocative behavior, and images focused on certain body parts in a gratuitous way are also considered Adult by BannerConnect.
- Hateful or Violent Content
- Subjective Political Content

Of course we will accept political news sites, but there are certain websites out there that are way too subjective. - Deceptive Content
- Illegal Content
- Unlicensed Copyrighted Content (or links to)

BannerConnect does not accept sites that have copyrighted content, illegal downloadable content, and even sites that just link to file hosters. - Too many ad placements on one page

Less is more. BannerConnect does not allow websites that have too many ads on one page. In general it is not appealing to your visitors, it causes technical problems and in all cases the performance drops dramatically. - Click incentives for its readers

A publisher cannot offer incentives to users to click on ads. Incentives include, but are not limited to awarding your visitors with cash, points, prizes, contest entries, etc.
Sites that are based on the following incentives: Paid to Read, Paid to Click, Paid to Surf etc. are strictly prohibited. - Traffic other than the traffic generated by your website
